I just re-read my last blog post, regarding our flight to and experiences in Dublin, and believe I may have come off a bit negative. Really. Looking back on this experience, first of all, I don't think it was actually as horrible as I made it sound, and, I believe it has made me a more amicable and relaxed traveler in general. Henceforth, I will be quite prepared for everything and all, so bring it!!
Anyway, back to the story. Once we arrived in Lausanne with our luggage, we transported it to a coworker's apartment basement for storage during our trip to Spain, which was very handy! We proceeded to run some errands, visit EPFL, eat at the same place twice, and find our airbnb room for the night (with an amazing view of the lake, btw). The next day, we were heading back to Geneva to then leave for Spain.
In Geneva, we literally sat in this couple's apartment all day. Our one respite from the indoors was a short walk to the grocery store for bread, coffee, and beer. We were just plain exhausted.
Next: Spain! Where it was rainy and freezing the whole time! Just kidding, I'm kicking that negativity out the door right now!
